Is it as simple as Haswell new generation therefore better?!

I'm looking to get i5-4670k or i5-3570k, the latter being on offer this week.

They both equally simple at overclocking? Both have similar overclocking potential?

Thanks.

if your buying all new ie motherboard aswell then haswell if you've got a 1155 socket motherboard the go with ivy

Ivy has more potential but less clock for clock performance.

As the above poster said, go with whatever motherboard you are going to buy.

As has been said, if new motherboard needs buying as well buy haswell. If you have a 1155 socket motherboard that can take ivybridge cpu's then just get Ivy
