haswell overclock

Just hit the buy button on intel haswell 4770k.my i7 920 has served me well and I really fancied something new.
I was wondering what kind overclock can you achieve on these new chips?
What is an acceptable overclock?
Is there a real world difference between say 4.0 to 4.8 overclock?
What do people do if they get a poor overclocker?

My i7 920 lasted me for 4 years was clocked at 4.0 even managed 4.2gz stable on air.but wasn't worth keeping at that speed due to temps and power consumption.
Beside encoding nothing really pushed it to be honest.had intend to go ivybridge-E but when i saw the reviews come out i was very disappointed.
More than anything i think am looking forward to having proper sata 3 and full dts sound as use i my av receiver to output to 5.1.when watching blu rays etc
