Hi I am looking to build a gaming pc again and have a budget of £1300, i have the monitor, OS and a 2tb hard drive already.

Below is the spec which I came up with the help of a friend and I would like any suggestions on any parts that could be changed, only condition is that i would like to stick to that corsair case.

I would like the machine to run Battlefield 3/4, Skyrim and Total war Rome 2 (When it comes out) all on high on a res of 1080p.

I would ideally like to bring the cost down so was thinking would a i5 suit my needs better? I will also like to overclock hence the cooler.

Thanks for the help;)

You can buy the CPU and cooler as a bundle on ocuk and save yourself £ 20 or so... And personally would go for the 750w edition to give you a bit more headroom for £10 extra.

Ohh and an i5 with an overclock would be more than sufficient for gaming needs, but if money is no objection then i7 is the obvious choice. Really comes down to whether you wanna save a few extra £££ or not

For eg a quick change to an i5 4670k and a h60v2 would save you £130 ish straight away

Thanks for the suggestions, I went with this in the end and changed the i5 as you suggested.
