Hauppauge WinTV Video Capture

I was using msn and noticed it has:
Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture

All I see is a blue screen even when I run the WinTV software.. just thought it would be a cool experiment to stream over msn

Anyway to "tune" this Video Capture source?

not sure why your getting a blue screen.. but im just letting you know that it works as i have done this bofore

I cannot off hand tell you what WinTV card I had, but after nearly a month of playing around with it under Vista I sold it on EBay.
Initial problems under Vista64.
Eventually Hauppauge solved them, however they now have an issue with some cards and running 4GB of RAM under Vista.
I saw the blue screen issue, first time it was driver related - go read the Hauppauge forums, you have to do some serious messing around under Vista.
Second time around it was amount of memory issues.

I purchased a Pinnacle card instead and at the moment am having no better luck - bought the device for Vista64, was promised it came with Vista64 beta drivers and have since been told no Vista64 drivers exist for it at all at the moment beta or otherwise.
