Entered and timely too, as currently looking at a NAS to backup all my irreplaceable photos to. Sadly have a lack of funds and making do with a USB hard drive at the minute - this would be ideal

How do the Asustor units stack up to Synology / QNAP etc?

In terms of features they are quite similar I believe.

There are some good videos of the Asustor OS on youtube I will try dig the ones i watched out of my history!
