Hi folks,

As I have a rev.A HH3, I want to replace it for a better router, that or replace both the modem AND the HH.

I want more than 1 GB socket on the router and a strong wireless too.
I would like something that can handle 6 PC's/Pads all running together - for throughput speeds.

Suggestions please :D

Thanks

It's not the only one, but it is definitely one of the best.

I wouldn't bother trying to replace the OR modem, it caused me no end of problems.

BT recently replaced that as it was causing a problem.

Was the setup easy when replacing the HH?

Want to know if BT have anything nasty in there!

Yep, you will need a username a password to authenticate to the PPPoE session, these are
user: "[email protected]"
pass: blank

though if your new router won't accept a blank password put either a single space or "bt".

That's all :)

Just ordered the N56U.

Does it pick up the defaults for BT ok? [aside from the PPPoE you mentioned]?

I have the RT-N66U and its fantastic, best router I've ever used. I dont know why you would want to use Tomato Firmware, the original firmware works fine just update to the latest.
