Where to start..

Drop the 950 and mobo and get SandyBridge 2600k.
Green HDDs are slow, designed for low power storage, not a gaming PC. Get an SSD.
5870 is a little old, might consider a 570gtx instead.

Made a sandy bridged build around the £800 mark but without a real budget its a bit difficult. As above suggested, SSD would be good

Ok I have this spec trying to get it below 800 but i thinkthis is as far as i can go

MSI GTX 570
INTEL CORE I5 2400 3.10GHZ
MSI P67A C45
FRACTAL DESIGN R3
XFX PRO 750W
SAMSUNG 1TB F3
KINGSTON HYPER X 4GB GENESIS GREY
BE QUITE DARK ROCK COOLER
DVD -RW
CREATIVE AUDIGY SOUND CARD

Any issues with this build..thanks

Loose the silly expensive cooler and get the K series of the chip - means you can overclock it.

This:)

Sandybridge runs quite cool so I'd suggest a Corsair A50 or Gelid Tranquillo.

Probably don't need the soundcard too unless your big on your audio!

Im not going to get the k series as i never overclock

on the msi boards there's a feature called oc genie which on the GD65 (possibly 55 and 53) there's a button that you press which gives you an instant overclock of about 4.2GHz. on the others its either a function in the BIOS or you run a program through windows, not sure which one, and it does the same thing, just without the button.
