Have I been sent the wrong card?

Hi, I ordered this card off Overclockers, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-053-BG&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1008 opened it earlier, and I'm unsure whether it's the right card inside. The box is for the OC2 version, and the Part number on the box is BFGR88512GTOC2E, but the part number on the sticker on the card reads BFGR88512GTOCE. Also the barcodes do not match up. Have I got the earlier revision card? I'm grateful if someone can clarify the situation:confused:

That code you have on the card relates to the OC1 version, so sounds like they have you sent you the wrong card, as the OC1 is clocked a bit less than the OC2.

Run GPU-Z and see what clocks it reports as the OC2 will be higher clocked than the normal one but if the seials on the box and card dont match then theres something amiss there. Any signs of use on the card itself?

I haven't actually installed the card, not sure I will bother, will just phone overclockers tomorrow. The box was in the plastic wrap, and the anti-static bag was sticker-sealed, so it hasn't been used:confused:

Yea Bigdave's idea

Doubt he'd be able to do that tbh, if OcUK have sent the standard OC card in the OC2 box, and his order says the OC2, and so thats what he got charged for, then he's gona have to send it back so they can see for themselves, i doubt they'll just give out a refund on say so, otherwise everyone would be trying it on. :)

yeah ** right lol. Perhaps he take a picture lmao.

With the traditional loaf of bread on it. :D

Far better opening it, putting it in (ohh err), and checknig the clocks with GPU-Z, then sending it back if it is the wrong one, as you do get 7 days to try it (distance selling act). :)

i was ment to regester it? o #&*$ lol.

Hope you haven’t had the card for longer than 30 days buddy...........

In connection with such Limited Lifetime or Ten Year Warranty, all BFG graphics cards introduced on or after February 21, 2008 must be registered on www.bfgtech.com within thirty (30) calendar days of the original purchase date to activate the limited lifetime warranty or limited ten (10) year warranty. Products not properly registered will be covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Proper registration includes submitting proof of purchase to BFG.

A length warranty is really the only advantage when getting a BFG product, if you dont register it you might as well of gone for a non brand.

looking at those speeds you have the correct card

Could be the wrong sticker on the card or someone's edited the bios on a OC1 card so it's now an OC2, Personally I'd contact BFG and ask their advice, as has been said you pay extra for BFG so you have no worries.
