Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

...To replace motherboard, cpu and ram in Sig, but just wondering whether I should have went E6600? I will be OC'in the pants of whatever goes in the socket just like my 3800x2 ;)
 
Yeh Ive heard good things about both boards, but Ive had ASUS boards for ages and just recently built a mates rig using a P5B. Great Motherboards.

Whats the Gigabyte like?

I'm hopping to get at least 3.0Ghz out of this chip.

I brought the E6300 on the basis that I wanted at least 3Ghz from it. From what I've read most people have got 3Ghz from it.

Ive heard that a few people have said that the E4300 produces more heat but does look like a good clocker. I kinda hit the buy button on spare of the moment!
