From a XFX 7800GTX to a XFX GeForce 7900 GTX Extreme Edition 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (core 675 Mem 1700) all for £310 inc Postage.

I currently only have a VX912B (1280x1024) looking to go 24" Widescreen soon (Samsung 244T)

yeah but a 7800GTX can run a 24" widescreen too.... not a very good upgrade imo.

I would have to agree here.

For the outlay I personally don't think it was worth it.

However if you are happy with your purchase then enjoy it :)

I would have bought a x1900 XT-X 512 for the added image quality...but same is same. Hope your selling the 7800 to get some money back. Thats what I do every year at least...and the Bay of the E is allways a good way of recouping some money back. Graphics cards actually go for quite high prices sometimes.

Don't start with the image quality of the ATI cards. Its subjective.
The guy will get good money for his 7800 GTX and the upgrade path is a good one .
