Have i made a big mistake, just ordered 2x 4890s for Xfire

Just looked at the benchmarking results of crysis

4870X2 and 4890 Crossfire

and 4870x2 gets 30ish fps and the 4890s get 34 fps

i mean WHAT THE HELL, how the hell is crysis coded so badly when they coded it surely newer cards would have upped the frames a lot by now but dam its like crysis crushes cards

would 2x of these be faster than a GTX295, hmm, im just thinking of my options heh

though doesnt the 295 have more stream processors.
 
dont 4890s have 3 heat pipes and better cooling than 4870?

and having 2 cards in 2 slots will overclock surely better, to 1 ghz for sure
