Don't jump all over me but I have noticed there are no 2080 super cards available on OC
Whilst it would be a very very bad move to even consider buying one atm, it does mean there are no (what was) high-end cards available. Yes the 2070 super is still in stock but for anybody out there wanting/needing a higher-end card, the 2080ti is the only option, which would be nuts to even consider.
So my question really. Did Nvidia engineer the launch to push either people to preorder the new cards by making the stock unavailable or was it just the world has gone mad for the 2080 cards prior to the launch? I ask because when the 10 series cards launched I picked up my old venerable 980ti for £310 in the end of line fire sales that Gibbo did... (it's going to be replaced with a 3070 (if I can get one before 2021 LOL) as it is 5 years old next year and my Zotec warranty is up)
As I say, just interested as I genuinely can't see them being available before chrimbo.
Yes I will be interested in what AMD will be bringing out as if the rumour that the 3060ti will be the vanilla card is true (source) then it might be a budget fight???
