Have Technology hit a wall?

just wondering, have technology hit a dead end? Because with all the new graphics card released they dont actully ahve any new features, jsut more pipelines and speed. I mean all the features a 7800 have, the 6800 have as well and this card is 1 generation ago.

oh ok, coz i couldnt really find anything "new" on any other the newer cards compared to the older ones.

so are we waiting for DX10 to be released then we will see some real improvement? or will it just be the same?

so which game atm is the most demanding would u say?
