Have they replaced my PSU with an inferior model?

I recently RMA'd my faulty Antec TruePower 650w to ******** (no, not this site ).

They have replaced it with an Antec Earthwatts 750w.

I'm not sure if this is an upgrade or downgrade?

Please advise oh wise ones.

Yeah stick with the Antec its a great psu

Both power supplies we're talking about are antec.

the new truepower psu is made by seasonic, and is a better unit, even with less watts.

Hmm, I don't like the fact that I've been given a model that isn't up to scratch with the one I RMA'd.

They have given me a replacement which is equal in value but not in performance.

What do people think I should do?

Reasons mentioned above. Plus a discussion thread is more entertaining than google .

Did it just die or did something prompt it? I've used truepowers a few times now without issue.

Well to be honest I don't think I am that bothered with an exchange but will e-mail them to see the response.
