I'm on 20mb so usually upload is 768kbps but today it is flying, currently at 1.4mb/s transferring at between 180KB/s and 190KB/s.

Anyone else found this?

Nick

Nope am on 20 mb too upstream is 730 download is 4mb - 10 mb it's a terrible isp when your on an oversubcribed ubr

Strange as speedtest shows it as normal.

I was transferring files over msn at the time and using a sidebar traffic metre, incorrect reading? The files did fly up though, not seen it go like that before.

edit - it is my network metre reading wrong, ran speedtest again an it was showing 712kb while my metre was reading 1.4mb. Damn, I had my hopes up then :(

The side bar has a bug. I also have 20mb and use the sidebar and it shows exactly double the bandwidth (mine shows 181kbps) for the upstream, but reports downstream right. Im not sure why :s

here's my 2 day old 20mb service haven't downloaded a thing since having it just general web browsing.

I find them very accurate whatever the speed tests give me is what i can download at from by ftp or usenet.

16down and about 600up atm

Lookin normal, I did however notice I was uploading strangely fast a few days back but this was late at night, not 100% aure if the VM throttles include up speed too.

Will ltest again later as Ive been using the BB this morning.

The sidebar would show all data travelling over your network from your PC not just the Internet so that could explain it. Maybe?
