I have, the most scariest moment of my life, I felt my heart kick in @ work on Boxing Day 2005. Age 22, My body went mad, my brain said "help"

I got shipped off to the Hospital sirens and lights and all. It was a good and bad experience, I got treated well by the ambulance grew, they do save lives, I had an ambulance AND a fast response paramedic at my work place within 10 mins.

The Doctors high on the triple pay of Boxing day left (I lost 5 days pay + 2 x3 wage) me for over 4 hours without any update, only when I personally got up and demanded a insite into my care did they do somthing, blood results came back inconclusive.

It was a crazy experience for me, to be told that you only get these after you are 60 years old hurt me.

My lifestyle hit me hard, I hardly go out anymore (once a month), I eat average and I excercise to a good degree.

I am sharing this for no reason but to share my experience and parp life.

How do you mean "kick in"?

Well, the left side of my body went crazy, i was talking to somone at work, it was like my body went offline for a few seconds. I felt my left leg go num, I slowy made my way for a drink of water, I felt no better, I only had 2 hours of an 8 hour shift left, My body was telling me somthing, I dont know what it was, it was strange.
a
I had 4 blood test and 2 ECG and I had to chew on a aspirin.

I wish it was a pulled muscle but the docs never said that, they never said anything.

Whats an ECG?

It monitors the heart and its votage, in different places, it can dectect a slight or major change in the heart pattern.

The heart graph you see on flatliners or casualty is an ECG.

I had a print out in the ambulance and they decided to take me to the hospital as a "chest complaint" need to go.

Hmmm, weird - sounds almost like a mild stroke

Have you had any problems since? It could have been a total one-off thing.
Anyway, hope you're OK and get it sorted out....whatever it is!

The thing is I have never had a test since the 26th of Dec, call me crazy but they seem to think its normal. My Doctor put it down to the anxiety of my life and my niece but i was a month past that.

I haver never felt a sensation like it and I hope I will, it was like a warm feeling that had me high for a few seconds, it never felt like pain, which most heart attacks suffer from a pain.

I need to get back to the doctor but my heart ( :(
) tells me do they really care.
