Have you ever seen anyone wearing merch from a YT channel in public? Did you think less of them for doing so?

I think in fairness it's the same as wearing a band tshirt, which is better to support than a label/logo such as Nike or Lacoste.

But in response to actual question no. Don't think there's any merch that i feel looks any good that i'd wear, and i have too many hoodies and tees as it is already. I have a lot of music tees. I would like to purchase some bits from Gamersnexus, but import tax says no.

Most people probably wouldn't even realise they belong to some YT channel.
personally I'm too old to be seen dead wearing any influencers stuff, even if I wasn't I'd be too embarrassed anyway.

all YT merch is probably the same uber low cost stuff with a different logo printed on it by the same few companies, I'd wonder how well they hold up in the wash and why someone would pay such a high markup for that stuff in the first place.

seen plenty and have some my self. If the design is cool and I want it, I’ll get it. I couldn’t care less what other people think of me and I don’t care what other people wear either.

Yeah, I can see people wouldn’t know where that is from necessarily.

Just curious on opinions, not trying to knock anyone. If it’s a good way to support your favourite channel / influencer then have at it.

I don’t have anything but not against it; most of the stuff generally though is going to be crap low cost t-shirts, etc.
I’d maybe consider more “durable stuff” like a water bottle or gaming surface (I quite like the look of some of Linus Tech Tips stuff)

My son has a hoodie from a YT channel, but the logo is fairly 'normal' / non-descript in the sense that you could just wear it and most people wouldn't think it strange, you would see others wear something similar.
