This is probably highly unlikely if you live in one of our bigger cities, but perhaps not for the smaller ones. Each day I walk into my local high street and catch between 10-20 random people staring at me. You probably wonder if I have two heads, three arms, or four legs but the reality is, is that they are bored and just like to stare at people.

anyway, together with that and ridiculous amounts of daily coincidences (you know the ones, like you haven't seen a friend for 8 years because they moved to australia, then one day out of the blue when you are slagging them off they are stood right behind you)....I wonder if anyone at any point in their lives wondered if they are truman

What about everyone actually being bots?

Think about it... you have absolutely no idea who or what has typed out this post. You could look through post history to determine information about this character / persona but you don't know if that is the truth.

Maybe everyone is programmed just to play out set predetermined scenarios in your life. Maybe your work colleague goes back to their homes and just sits there, until the next start_working_day.exe. You have no idea if they actualy eat, drink or sleep. They might tell you they had a chicken dinner yesterday evening but unless you cut open their stomach and intestines how do you know it's not just a script to form the story.

Not discounting the bot theory but we'd know by now if people weren't at least going through the routine of living.
