As title says, have you gave up world of warcraft ? did you used to play ?, why did you stop playing ?


just want to know because im bored....

and i want a new character :D, i want a level 80 mage, or some form of dps, i havnt got enough time to level one now before i go away :(, to dear to buy a acount from a site....:D

have stopped now, sub ran out yesterday and dont think ill be resubbing.

so my 80 DK and 70 warrior are gathering dust along with me low level alts :D

hehe, i think the games boring as hell now, untill new content

what realm were you on ? horde/aliance ?

im just a tank you see, and ive got everything i can now and i havnt enough time to level a char up, so im just looking around see if anyone got any chars just lying there and there not playing anymore, i wont want it for free ofcourse, not even asking to keep it, just too play on it, gear it up, ill pay for a realm change and get it in my guild on 25mans for gear, has to be on aliance, untill i go away in the army and walla they can have the char back, just ****** off with tanking all the time, and i cant change specs in the guild :o

I gave up. I got bored of not having any goals. The encounters, imo, became repetitive and the only benchmark for having achieved anything was replacing all the gear i'd invested all my time in with more gear that will itself eventually be worthless.

I deleted my 4 level 70's before WOTLK came out... because it turned out to be an expensive and inconvenient instant messenger.
 
i stoped playing about a week ago, just got bored, have a 78 rogue, 70 war,hunter,mage and was leveling a pala.

just got bored and didnt want to play it any more.
 
loads are finding it boring now,

well, my msn is under my name if you want me to level and gear a char up for you :) (or just say in here and ill get hold of you), ill pay for subscription,

78-79 gotta be the lowest level char i would level for you though, and im serious aswell, theres just that downside that ill be paying for realm transfer and the char has gotta be on aliance, i do have a level 72 pally on another acount, the person can hold that acount for safe keepings if you want, im just soo bored atm, i could eat my arm while tanking these days, i just want to dps some faces.

bit of a strange ask but i dont care, if people have characters there not doing anything, then no harm done.

Game was fun and good to play, till the guild i was in broke up and i got work away from home.

Then i got 2-3 hours a weekend, not enough really. so i quit.
 
yeah i quit maybe 2/3 months ago. Just got so bored.. left my 80mage, 71pala and 71hunter to rot lol
 
Bored as hell, before WOTLK I stopped in Black Temple. Then when WOTLK was released I though a lot of improvement to the game was made, I tried playing did not even reach 71 before becoming bored again and stopped. All they did was add new grind.
 
Yups, I gave up.


I love WoW, one of the best games EVER.. but its just too addictive.

I have started and quited a lot since it came out, I tend to quit when I don;t have enough time to play it, or its taking over the time I need to do other stuff. Im sure ill re-sub and fire it up though sometime this year!
 
Gave up, started again, now gave up for good. I find the new content dull, way too easy and the raids pure and utter boredom. People on my server has been pugging all the raids. Back in TBC, you just tried pugging SSC, TK and even Maggy on release, and you'd be sent back with your ass in your hands. There is no challenge anymore, nor any reason to bother. Sub is running out in March, I won't even be playing until then. It was a good 3 years though, I had fun.
 
Agree regulus, bring back the pre-tbc type raids with the organisation involved and the challenge. BwL completing that was a massive achievement, completing naxx in wotlk is just meh and soo easy.
 
I gave up when I hit 70 since I wasn't interested in the end-game instances/raids, though I re-subscribed when WotLK was released. Since my priest is so easy to kill in PvP I'm leveling up a Death Knight though I'll probably quit again when I get her to 80 unless the PvP improvements to priests are any good.

My aim at the moment is to get the cash together (I need about 3000 gold) for my main to get the epic flying/mount and it seemed the quickest way was to level a DK through Northrend. Probably wrong about that though. :o
 
I'm a strong believer that you only live and breathe one era of WoW, and when the next comes, you're off. My old GM said that in Vanilla, he had 302 people in his guild/com, 2 of them made it to lv70 in TBC and quit soon afterwards since the raids weren't Naxx/BWL/MC difficulty and "too easy". I cut my WoW teeth on TBC and 99% (no joke) of people who raided with me endgame in TBC, was first time WoW players in TBC, nobody experienced Vanilla raids. With WOTLK out, I know off 5 people from around 65 in my old comm that still actively raid, the rest all quit or just play social/pvp/RP/pugs now since the raids "aren't as cool as TBC raids". You have new people now taking over the baton and carrying it to Lv80 raids whilst the rest of us old ******** reminisce on how good TBC was and how Blizz *****d up WOTLK for us. In truth, we just miss it and WoW will never be the same for us again.

I used to play but I stopped as it was boring as hell.

Got to about Level 35 and needed to go through that gnome cave thing in that big city place but I was on my own all the time, no one would go with me. So I was struggling to level up at that point so quit! :(
