You know, one of those days that whatever you do just seems to go wrong. Mine started ok, but well got worse as it went on.

Got out of bed at around 9 this morning, did the usual morninf routine, brekfast, shower, get dressed etc. Surfed forums listened to music for an hour or so before going to town to do some bits and pieces.

First stop was the job centre (or as I call it, the Joke Centre) although I currently have a job, it's not the best in the world and I wanted to see what jobs may or may not be on offer. So in I march after fighting to get a parking space. see the security guard and tell him I'd like to look at the job points, only to be asked

"Are you in claiming benefits sir ?"

"No" I reply "I have a job, would just like to get out of it and find something else"

His reply was "Then I'm going to have to tell you that you are not allowed to use these premesis unless you are claiming benefits" He then hands me a booklet and sends me on my way. No big deal I guess, just a tad annoying. Before anyone starts there is no shame in going into one of those places to look for work, anything has to be better than working as a part time sales person who only gets full time hours when it suits the managment.

Anyway I'd paid for 2 hours parking, next stop bank to put a cheque in. Open my wallet, cheque isn't there. When I return home it appears I left the cheque on my laptop. Which means a second trip to town for just that tommorrow, the local car parks must love me lol.

Anyway, thats two set backs in the space of 10 minutes, so i decide to goto the local games store, after a battle in my mind should I buy or not buy the C&C first Decade pack, I buy it, and leave with a smile on my face.

Oh yeah then I got stopped on the way back to the car by a very nice young lady, thought I'd pulled for a second, but she just wanted my money, turns out she was looking for people to pay some money each month to shelter. I politley refused, but didn't half feel guilty for saying no, not so much because I feel sorry for the homeless people but because she was rather hot.

Get back to my car, some twit has parked his so that I can't get out, try to locate the moron, but he's nowhere to be seen. So I sit in my car and wait, and I wait some more. About half an hour passes before the twit who blocked me return, I get out, fuming. Tell him that there's plenty space and why did he just abandon his car behind mine like that. Then I look at the reg plates on his car, flaming foreinger who can't speak a word of english. Eventually he moves his car, and I say eventally because he took an age to move his car out of the spot, which would have taken me 30 seconds at the very least to get out of the way.

Anyway get home, play C&C for a few hours, then realise, I need my inhaler, it's not in my jeans pocket, check my leather jacket, it's not there either. Check the car, nope it's gone. After much head scratching I make a second trip to town, do a tour of all the places I'd been nope, it's nowhere, conclusion is it's lost forever. By this time I'm a bit stressed out as I actually need a puff on the thing, sit down and just think for a while and trying to calm down. Decide to pull my room to bits, it had to be here somewhere, and the darned thing turned up under my bed. Feeling like a right wally really lol tearing all the way into town looking for it.

And now, well the keyboard tray on my desk has fallen out, so yeah it's been one of those days.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to get that out my system.

Unlucky day.

But at least the first decade runs for you :(

Yeah it runs as sweet as a nut, it not working for you then ??

Oh yeah on that second trip to town I had the cheque with me, but the bank was closed.

Atleast tomorrow can only be better mate! :D

Give C&C a right good going over aswell, i remember the good 'ole days!

you really should have more than one inhaler. Ive got 2 of the preventer types i take, main one and backup, and about a million of the normal "take when you feel like your about to die" type

my question has to be:

Why didn't you search the job centre from home on the 'net?

Because i was in town anyway, so didn't see the harm in going in.

I see you hang about in here aswell SV, not too much action in TS is there of late.

I did have two, but the doc decided to only perscribe me with one, something to do with costing them too much ?? Annoying as I used to have two, one in the car and one with me.

I'm going to go down there soon I think and get it sorted, becasue it's really annoying just have the one anyway. Hopefully the doc will give me 2 like I've had before. I'm betting that they won't though. It took me ages to convince them to change inhaler from something that I had since I was 9 to something a bit more suitable for a busy lifestyle. Had something called a roterhaler before you had to put the stuff in and turn it. Now got one of them as I like to describe them as puff and go jobs, have a puff, put it in yer pocket, sorted :)

mine was going pretty well untill i talked to my ex, who i'd love to be good friends, and she started balling her eyes out after i told her i'm seeing someone new, hung up then wouldn't reply to my message for ages, so have been really stressed over that. Had to sell a friends car for him, found out my car is covered in bird poo (after washing the last lot off yesterday in the freezing cold) not getting payed for annother week cause the company i'm contracting for still hasn't been given their money, and this was all after 6pm, the rest of the day was just dull.

damn it, work and women just don't seem worth it sometimes! (they you get payed and layed and its all good :D)

i had one of those a while back, before that it was the gas things but with a wierd chamber to take them with. Your inhaler wouldnt happen to be a ventolin or a seretide 50 would it?

Thing about the puffer inhalers is that most people don't use them properly. With the disc ones you have to inhale to get the medicine, but a lot of people inhale at the wrong time with the spray ones. I have one for home and one for work... haven't had an asthma attack for years, but don't want to be without just in case...

Anyway, my day hasn't been *that* bad, but it has been one of those days where constant interruption at work meant that I haven't done most of what I wanted to. Frustrating, but not the end of the world.

No mine is a Ventolin Evohaler.

I've never suffered a full on attack, it's just i need the odd puff every now and then. More so in the last few days because there was a works party on Friday just gone that was very very smokey. Still not feeling as bad as I did on Saturday morning.

aah the same one as me, ive had full on attacks a few times, but they were during the winter where the combination of having a cold and bad weather caused it. A few months back smoke would trigger my asthma but after seeing my doc and sorting out meds everythings sorted, i suggest you see a doc or a nurse for a asthma check up

I've had a checkup only a week or so ago, the nurse said I was fine !! Told her about the smoke and she said thats normal, still going ot see the quack at some point this week and sort out the only having 1 puffer.

Yup pnly just noticed it's 00:17 am tomorrow is here :D

That stuff about the job centre is rubbish! The duders around here are really polite and will help you even if you aren't claming benefits and are still working.

Looks like the guy in your job centre was just a lazy little ****. Was he fat as well?
