Have you noticed any habits that you do, where you just can't seem to break the cycle?

So for example:
I seem to have a real issue with games in general. I start a game, have a pretty good first session, then once that session is over, I might never open that game again, I might go back the next day to play it again but that original feeling I had when I first started just isn't there anymore, making it feel more like a chore.
I will mass install games that I tell myself I'll play, some games I've played in the past, so already know I liked them, which just sit there for months without being touched, then I just mass uninstall everything again.
Spending too much time thinking what I want to play, rather than actually playing said game.

I should start doing other things, like reading my books or finishing my cross-stitch, but at the same time I can't keep my mind away from the games I never play. I think some of it comes from having more choice, which is nice so long as you actually play them.
I might have to actually uninstall all launchers to try and break the habit, might force me to do something else.

What habits have you noticed you seem to have picked up as you've gotten older? And have they made you start to do anything differently?

I still play L4D though - nearly 9k hours - eek.

Damn, 9k hours! How many games do you have?

My most played game is ETS2 at 309 hours, after that it's Tabletop Simulator at 183 hours. I only have like 7 games in the 100-200 hours range. And 15 in the 50-100 hour range. I have 1,783 games on Steam and my account on Steam is 19 years old.
