So i currently have a 144hz monitor and was looking at getting a 240hz monitor, If i use the 144hz as a 2nd monitor will i have any issues running at 240hz on the first monitor?

Hello mate.

Graphics card?
Monitors?
Use case?

Unless there’s some outlier answer to the above, should be fine.

GTX 970 but might upgrade to get 240hz I only really play csgo tho,
BenQ xl2720
Csgo/overwatch in fullscreens while browsers on other screen maybe Including twitch/youtube

May I ask why you need a high refresh rate monitor for desktop use? Were I you I’d just get a decent 60hz IPS for general desktop use, save yourself some moolah to add to the new GPU fund.

Some people like more Hz and I can more than understand why.

In the answer to the op, I do not foresee any problems.

I have used 120Hz and 75Hz dual monitor for gaming and having something else running on other display with no issue.

Unless some screwed up driver issue, I see no problems.

Go at it and enjoy 240Hz :D

4000 hours in csgo if you have never played a game like it going even from 60hz to 144hz is massive, it is unplayable in 60hz in my opinion

Played cs sonce beta 7 ;)

I was under the impression op wanted the monitor for general use as he already had a hrr monitor.
