I'm working on a laptop. Windows 10 installed fine and is activated but I'm having issues with updates and also chip set drivers.

Windows 10 automatically detected my hardware and found the chip set drivers but it failed to install them I went to windows update and it downloads the updates but doesn't install them it just stops at 100% there are many updates to be installed and I can't schedule a time so that when I restart my computer to do updates. I have checked my internet connection which is very fast so its not a network issue. It keeps restarting the downloading updates but wont move forwards from there. I have ran the trouble shoot wizard but I'm just going around in circles and not getting anywhere with it.

Any help?

I can see some updates have installed but it wont install the 22H2 update it just keeps endlessly downloading but never installs.

Mobile intel(r) 4 series express chipset family (microsoft corporation - wddm 1.1) which is for the display failed to install.

I downloaded the Microsoft Update Assistant tool exe and its installing the new updates now, it will take a while before it finishes but so far its looking like it has solved the issue. I really must update my ISO installation USB I did not realize it was so far out of date.

Download them from Intel.
Hopefully once the new update gets done installing my display driver might automatically be fixed. The text on the screen has gone smaller so it might have repaired itself already.

It might take a couple of days for the updates to finish :D
