My son has been having issues with passing out and after some tests, it was found that his heart stopped 8 times in 10 days, so he was fitted with a pacemaker a couple of days ago. I have looked online about people roughly his age having a pacemaker fitted, but have not really found anything for roughly 2020 about it. I am intersted in knowing if anybody here (or knows of some one) at his age that has one fitted and what problems they have had?

What level of care did you get from whoever fitted the pacemaker that you're having to ask a computer forum for potential problems or issues? I'd have thought that would be one of the most critical things they would (and I imagine they already have) told you

A valid question.. I asked here because so many people visit this site and I thought what the ..... and gave it a shot.
While the surgeon was top notch, his doctor was less so.

Only information I have found to date has been from several years ago and a number of issues came up to watch for etc, but things have changed from a couple years ago so I was just checking more in to it.
