Having A Play...

my honest opinions here:

1. nice image, very busy but it works apart from the out of focus tap at the front of the shot.
2. bit of an uninspiring car.
3. nice image but the same as number 4 which just looks better
4. nice photo, shows the occasion well, nice colours and composition :)

Note about them all - awful borders tbh! :p

Hi

Thanks for the comments. How would you improve the borders?
Just starting out with the Elements 4, so still feeling my way.

Thanks Again

Hi.

1) Lovely shot and colours, nice composition and a very interesting scene.

2) Doesn't do anything for me, just seems like a plain shot of the back of the car, nice car though.

3 +4) Nice, i like it how only one of the women are looking at you, dunno why but it seems to add a kind of orignality to the picture, as if she was only looking at you because she wanted to be photographed by you rather than the other photographers. Nice colours and comp as well.

:)

Border Improvement: I think the the drop shadow behind the outermost border should't be at an angle, like a light is shining on it from the right and above (i hope that makes sense). You could just get rid of the drop shadow, duplicate the layer, select the lower one and add a gaussian blur to it, that would apply a drop shadow as if a light was being shone in it from directly above (hope that makes sense as well). Hope I've been of some help ;)

Here are a couple more I have had a ago @ editing. These weren't taken with my Nikon D50 like the previous photos, but with my GF Nikon Coolpix 4800...

Barcelona - 2005

A Tunnel In Lloret De Mar - 2005

Hope the borders are an improvement.

Cheers
