Been having an odd issue where the system gradually freezes. First a few open windows work a bit, and I can swap between open windows, then everything slowly stops responding and eventually all locks up. Cursor still moves around, can selected different open windows, but eventually clicking on stuff doesn't work, nor does CTRL ALT DEL, it all stops and I have to do a button hold power down. It happens occasionally, and as yet I'm not able to spot any trend as to when it happens, although it *might* be after the system comes out of sleep, but I can't be 100% sure it's that any time. Temps are all normal (water ~5° Delta over ambient - CPU core @ 40° GPU core @31°)

The system is under very little load when it happens, with maybe Firefox, Thunderbird and Edge open, along with various other bits and bobs running in the systray - Aquasuite, Steam, BTCloud, few others. There doesn't *seem* to be anything in event viewer, other than the System ShutDown Unexpectedly message you get after a forced power down. Any ideas? I've ran Memtest86 overnight, that had no errors. System specs below - RAM @ 3600Mhz using XMP1 profile. It's a bit annoying, but happening so rarely it's hard to work out what the issue is. There is a mild OC on the chip, it happened running at stock settings as well iirc.

Win11
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAXII
5600x
Corsair 32Gb RGB Pro @ 3600 (CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18)
RX 6800 XT Powercolour Liquid Devil Bios on "Unleash" but happens on "Normal" mode as well
EVGA Supernova G2 850W psu
WD Blue SN550 1TB m.2
2 x SSD via SATA
Connected via USB header:
Kolink Internal USB hub
Lian Li SL Inf Controller Hub x 2
Razer Chroma Addressable ARGB Controller
Aquasuite Quadro

Background stuffs running:
Razer Central
Steam
Aquasuite
Logitech G-Hub
BT Cloud
I-Cue

Drivers etc all up to date. Can supply more info if needed/required. It's annoying it's so infrequent, but it's enough to be a pita

Would appreciate some ideas! ty

Have you checked you ssd's are both running ok? Updated motherboard to latest bios? also try using ddu (display driver uninstaller) to fully uninstall your gpu driver and install latest. if none of that works then i'm out of ideas :(

disable them background apps from starting at boot from task man, see if them are causing it.

a dxdiag report might be useful.

does it happen in safe mode too?
