I despise people sometimes....

I am standing at a petrol pump today filling up with V Power. My rear spoiler is up and I notice that 2 little rubber stoppers have been half inched. Some turd has taken it upon themselves, when my car has been parked with the spoiler in the up position to unscrew both and take them. One day my dreams will come true and they will try this when I am in eyesight. In the grand scale of issues it's very first world but still, why do people eat from bins and then go near my ******* car!

:(

Many people today feel having nice stuff (computers, phones, houses, watches, cars, TV's, clothes etc) is a right, not something you usually have to work bloody hard for. I have never sneered at people with nice stuff as my view is it's usually their money and they have in the main probably worked really hard for it, all power to them. Some people, and sadly I believe that list is growing, see anything nice as a reason to hate and despise and even damage or try and take. They do this often because they know it will create threads like this and **** the people off, they sneer and laugh amongst their small circle of like minds. Sad *****

Agreed, sadly there are some wealthy people with the opposing mindset. He/she shouldn't have that, the w a you know the rest of the letters.

Very much so. I grew up with a guy from a very wealthy family who used to take delight in damaging other people's property - particularly if it was something like a very nice garden in a poor area or a well looked after but older/cheaper car. He was a total douche.

Hopefully you stabbed him in the larynx and left him to die in his own blood and vomit to a wheezing sound?

I've gone too far I think

While it's annoying when anyone touches or damages your property you are being very passive aggressive op :p i can't see you having trouble replacing two rubber stoppers

Sadly not, he was a few years older than me and when I was 14 I'd had enough of his crap one day and told him what I thought of his behaviour. He promptly knocked me flat on my arse.

He's not being passive-aggressive at all. The point is he shouldn't have to replace them in the first place.

It's people parking their car near mine that scares me most. Just the other day I parked virtually on the lines one bay in from a kerb in only a half full car park that wasn't going to be getting busier. Passenger got out, I stayed in the car. Within a minute, a knackered looking mk1 mx5 parks up in the bay next to me when clearly there's a lack of space with plenty of other free spots. He turns off the car then realises I'm sat in mine looking. Proceeds to awkwardly squeeze out the door holding the outside edge so it doesn't pin dent my car. Why bother... There's free spaces with nothing either side. A week before this I see a car sideswipe another parked vehicle whilst setting off and about two weeks before this, a girl somehow reverse into school railings. It's scary.

People are just depressing really. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth having nice things, because it's only a matter of time before someone wants to break it or steal it.

It's funny but a friend of mine never buys nice cars for this reason. He said he doesn't want something he's attached to because it just annoys him when it gets a door ding, scraped or deliberately damaged.

I think the pleasure far outweighs the pain of things like this. Focus on the positives and don't not have because of what might happen is my advice.

Stuff doesn't even need to be that nice. In the last few months I've had quite a few parts nabbed off my car. Parked with the roof down somebody took it upon themselves to nab two little bung plugs off my cars soft top one either side and then weeks later for the second time somebody has taken my valve covers off of my wheels.

To add insult to all this I go to the petrol station, pull off the pump not noticing that the adjacent pump had been wrapped around the pipe. Which jumps off and makes a decent size dent in the bonnet and chips the paint. :(

I just think of how sad a life does this little cretin need to have before he gets pleasure from doing this sort of thing.

Cheers me up.

Maybe they just fell out or something seems very unlikely someone would nick those unless it was a 'friend '
