having prob sync iphone

just did clean install of harddrive on my pc and reinstalled itunes etc but i want to upload a movie to my ipod so i can watch it on the plane. but when i go to sync up it says

the iphone 'iphone' is synced with another itunes libary. do you want to erase this ipone and sync with this itunes libary?

obviously i dont want to do this as i have all my music etc etc on there i will loose it. is there anyway to sync with new itunes with loosing all my stuff on my iphone?

Presumably, you didn't save your iTunes .xml library file before formatting and re-installing iTunes?

Without this, your iPhone will think it is syncing with a different PC. I don't think there's any way around this. Surely it's not that much bother to re-sync your media from your PC to your phone again?
