I am using this graphics card:

From my understanding this card can simultaneously run 6 monitors. I currently have 3 monitors attached to the card using 2 DVI cables and a DVI>DP adaptor. However only two out of three will work at any time.

It is my understanding that eyefinity requires the use of a displayport port, which I am using. I am using this adapator from OcUK. This is a passive adaptor which from a bit of research these DO work with eyefinity as long as the resolution is 1080p or below.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure a passive adapter works with 1080p or below?

From what I remember everyone running a similar setup needed an active adapter.

I done quite a bit of googling and found a few people who said they were using passive adaptors and it was working fine for them.

I'm really gutted because I won't be able to get an active adaptor until Wednesday when I'm back in work :(.

If I remember correctly there was some mileage in using a passive adapter if it was DP to VGA. Is that what you've seen when Googling?
