Having problems installing any OS

Right I've got a computer that I'm going to put downstairs as a media centre and in it, it's got 2 Samsung 250's and a WD 500.

I had a lot of problems with installing operating systems yesterday and can't figure it out. After installing Windows 7 it would blue screen, even on a fresh install! and Vista just felt slow and unresponsive. After getting my main computer to wipe all 3 hard drives and transfer movies to the 2 Samsung's, I can no longer get it to do anything, no matter what hard drive combination I put in it, it just comes back saying windows 7 failed to load with the error code "0xc000000F", I've had a look through loads of documents on that but none say anything about the computer being completely unusable. Most just state "Insert your original vista or windows 7 disc and do a repair", but for some reason since the computer has been like that I have been completely unable to select either the CD drive to boot from or either my USB caddy or USB pen all with operating systems on, that I was able to install from yesterday.

Any one got any ideas? Driving me mad!

Edit: Ok, apparently it gives me the error message "0XC000000E" when no hard drives are connected. So where is it getting this info from?

Ha, after spending most of last night trying to figure it out, and then posting this thread this morning, I've found the problem to why I can't get anywhere with anything, I had the USB caddy plugged in to install from and apparently it felt the need to copy the boot files to all 3 partitions on the caddy.

And I forgot it was still plugged in at the back :( :D

Nevermind, eh! Just hope that I can install Windows decently this morning, but I did reset the BIOS earlier so should be good to go.
