Having problems signing into MSN

Hi all,

Having some real problems signing into msn messenger

I have the current version "Windows Live Messenger", and I've reinstalled it etc.

And if I troubleshoot it, it says it's a problem with my proxy or firewall settings.

I've tried disabling the Windows firewall (all I use) and I've tried disabling/enabling my network connection.

Also tried rebooting my router.

Any ideas folks?

I had this problem was to do with Zonealarm so i switched to sygate and still had the problem so i just click Allow all....... seemed to fix it

Well i'm using NOD32,

but what is strange is that it was working!

I know this has nothing to do with Firewall/Proxy settings,

But is your system Clock correct?

messenger is very unreliable these days, I'd think nothing of it and just wait for it to start working again.

does it give you an error message at all?
