having problems with Raid on X99-S

sorry if i have put this in the wrong location but i currently have the most recent bios on my board the 0904 bios and i am trying to do a complete fresh install on my system and as soon as i load into my os disc it freezes and hangs ive tries doing the install in AHCI and that worked fine so that rules out drive and disk could anyone help me?

Not sure which board you have so..

- Have you tried enabling UEFI / booting the DVD in UEFI in the BIOS?

What motherboard? What hard drives? What RAID level?

ive tried booting in uefi i have a Plextor m.2 M6e and i am installing in raid so i can put Caching from my 120 GB SSD on to my 2Tb HDD and the Motherboard is the Asus X99-s

From what I have read Intel as yet do not support RAID on PCIe SSD's on there chipsets. RAID is supported in the OS or via a hardware PCIe card.
