not sure if i'm posting this in the right place sorry if i am not.
bought a brand new computer was a battlefield rush with a 670 and a 120gb ssd, i recieved it this morning, at first it seemed extremely sluggish now i'm having trouble even getting it on.

9 out of ten attempts to switch it on results in the error message

disc read error press control alt delete to restart.

any ideas what this could be and what might be causing it?

thanks
joe

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure you'd rather not but as it's a brand new pre-built system I'd be taking advantage of the "full 12 Month collect and return warranty" part of the service package.

If you're comfortable checking all the power and data cables are secure then have a look at that.

If you're comfortable going into the BIOS you can check that the OcUK overclocked profile is loaded.

But rather than messing about further I'd be getting OcUK to sort it out.
