I recently bought a new sound card off of eBay and ever since installing it, I've been having problems with sound for video files. Every kind of video file plays with no sound. However, MP3s and every kind of audio file plays fine. I just used the K-Lite codec pack and installed pretty much everything in it, and I still get no sound with video files. I'm totally stumped here, does anyone have ideas on what the problem may be?

It does dound like a codec issue.
Try the XviD codec:

Didn't work. Now getting the WMP error of:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there might be a problem with your sound or video device. Try installing an updated device driver."

But i just updated the driver.

But I'm literally getting sound everywhere else and on any other program.
