When I press the power button on my PC, it seems to start up, but I get no beeps.

I then have to press the reset button to get it to boot, I get one beep and all is well and it boots fine.

Anyone any ideas?

Apologies my spec is in my sig :)

I've just upgraded to F7b, the only problem is this issue only arises when the system is booting from cold, so I won't be able to test this until the morning!!

Thanks! ;)

ok well i have had a similer prob with a custmors pc i upgraded the bios i had to reset it before it would boot. try going back to your old bios and see what happens.

Sorry I updated after you said, so will wait until the morning to see if this resolves it, when I updated previously F7b was not available so fingers crossed! ;)

Tried booting this morning from cold and I am still getting this issue, it would appear that the new BIOD upgrade has not worked.

Does anyone else have any other ideas!?!?!?!

Thanks

Dan

I'll have a mess with the RAM, do you think that it may be a PSU issue as I couldn't afford a new one when building the PC and am using the standard one that came in this cheapy case.
