Having trouble transferring files from one laptop to another

I temporarily need to transfer my pictures, music, etc to another laptop and I'm doing this using a flash drive. However, some of the music files do not show up on the drive after I've plugged it into the other laptop. I'm simply shown empty folders, even though they are definitely on the drive.

What's going on? :confused:

Oops, I had the wrong tab open. Can a mod please move this to Windows & Other please?

Try this assuming Win 7:

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
