Hey guys,All the game's i've been on latly i'm getting huge frame drops,For E.G Diablo 3 i'll sit at 190 FPS on AVG then sometimes i'll drop to 12 FPS.

Another E.G is Crysis 3 i'll sit at around 50-70FPS AVG but have HUGE FPS spikes,Anyone have a idea on what i could do?

It's a 780 Classified btw.

Please help!

When you are on desktop, is your GPU settling down to 320Mhz (ish)? A guy is getting this with 290's and I am sure there is something at play here (bitcoin virus or similar) that is killing your fps.

If it is idleing at 320Mhz (ish), run DDU and completely uninstall the drivers, let it restart and try and install the windows drivers. once it says failed and restart to finish, do that and install the latest WHQL drivers.

Yeah Greg it's idling at 324 MHZ,Will do what you've just told me and give you a update in a moment.

I am experiencing the same thing however it is only happening in COD ghosts, running at around 6x-1xx fps then suddenly drop to 10fps.

I never mine so it shouldnt be the bitcoin virus.

need help :(

Yeah pal,My anti virus mustn't of picked it up,I'll give Malwarebytes a go and report back in a moment.

I do think that is the issue. I did some Google searching and no help, so very limited problems in this, which pushes me even further to think it is a virus. Malwarebytes is good but it still doesn't grab everything.

Worst case scenario and always my last ditch effort is reinstall windows.
