Having windows 7 and 8?

Hi. I have 2 Hardrives which are. 120GB SSD drive which at the moment got windows 7 installed. I also have a 1.80TB Hard drive where i put my games. I have just formatted my PC and put windows 7 on my SSD drive again. I then went into disk manament to put my 2nd Harddrive on and made it 931.51GB and then made another the same size. I called one Local Disk (D

and the other Windows 8 (E

and everything is fine. If i buy Windows 8 can i put it on the Windows 8 (E

part of the Hard drive and still have windows 7 and run 1 at a time having 2 sep operating systems on 1 PC?.

yeah,just press f8 or f12 at startup splash screen to bring up boot manager and pick which hdd/os you want to boot into,or set whatever hdd as first boot device in the bios

Thank you trying it out now with the developers preview of windows 8. Also i i can only find a upgrade version of windows 8 to pre order for Friday and can not find a full oem. Can upgrade editions format the PC like normal full OEM?. Thanks.

Thank you I have done the preview of windows 8 and installed on my 2nd hard drive and now I am able to go into windows 8 or 7. I had a couple of problems at first as it said windows can not be installed on this disk but I just changed 1st boot device in the bios and it worked.

Still not too sure to pre-order due to the fact that it only the upgrade I can find will this be ok as it is only £49.99 to pre-order?.

Can you make a tutorial for your time travel device also

I'd install them on seperate HDDs and change boot order in the BIOS depending on which OS you want to use.
