Hawksmoor vs Goodman

Popping down to that London for a day over summer to see the Damian Hirst exhibition at the Tate.

We are planning to have dinner at either Hawksmoor Seven Dials or a Goodman. We ate at Seven Dials last October and it was superb. This time we can't decide whether to try Goodman or stick with Seven Dials.

Or are there any other better steak places to try?

If you've not tried Goodman, give it a go I say Haven't been for ages mind because it's always booked up!

I would agree, they both have their plus points, having done both a couple of times (Severn Dials and Mayfair only) I slightly prefer Goodman. They are both miles above anywhere else but Goodman had a better steak and a larger selection of breeds. Hawksmoors starters and cocktails are more interesting but for steak and wine Goodman is a world beater.
