Hi all,

I am thinking of using http://www.hayesphotostudio.co.uk as a cameraman/videoman for a wedding.

The company/person is based in Hayes, Middlesex.

Has anyone had any experience with this company? Recommended?

I received a quote which was £5000 for:

- A3 Photobook
- Photoshoot
- Guest book photobook

The quote also contains:

- Videoman and cameraman on the main wedding day, approximately 14 hours
- Videoman and cameraman on the pre-wedding night party, approximately 6 hours
- Videoman and cameraman on a traditional Indian ceremony a few days before the wedding, approximately 2 hours

Please note, this price is the total for the Bride and Groom.

I have met the photographer and I liked his work and got on very well.

Any further comments/contributions that people may have based on my reply?

I suppose that if you're essentially hiring 6 people (looking at the way it's worded), 1 for photography and 1 for video work, for each slot, then it may be worth it. Hopefully they don't mean 1 person will take photos and the odd video at each slot. 22 hours of work would be a hell of a lot of processing, especially to obtain the same level/style of processing throughout.

That's correct, it will be approximately 22 hours of work.

It will be one person taking video and the other person taking photos
