Haze demo coming to the EU PSN Store November 16th

not looking to clever anyway

Haze demo branded a complete mess

According to WHAM! Gaming, the Haze demo that they experienced was a complete mess. They came away completed completely disappointed stating that the game attempts to give us a horrifying vision of the future but the future of the title looks not so good.

Truth be told though, the NECTAR didn’t seem to do much but create colour streaks across the screen. Enemies were easy to dispatch and the whole experience wasn’t very satisfying.

I’m sure later on NECTAR has more of a significant effect on the gameplay, but in the demo it didn’t seem too useful.

Also, I didn’t get a chance to check out the game’s multiplayer, which will accommodate as many as 24 players. So there’s still a chance this can give Halo a run for its money, but it’s got a lot of catching up to do.

Since Haze attempts to give us a horrifying vision of the future, I’ve decided to render my verdict with the help of my trusty magic eight ball.

Verdict: Outlook not so good

Yes, that's a very popular article doing the rounds, because it's the only one in a sea of Haze-praising articles of the same demo that's slating it. Gamers have a very selective memory when it comes to high-profile games, sadly.

I must admit I think this game looks pretty generic but I believe it has got potential according to previews.

Hopefully my opinion changes when the demo comes out but I've had enough with shooters this fall after playing Bioshock and Halo 3.

I'm looking forward to Ratchet and Uncharted more, as there isn't really any other games that compare to them on 360 or PS3 at the moment.

If anyones lives about the Notts area and is interested in Haze then this might be useful to know

GameCity is offering attendees the chance to play an exclusive demo of Ubisoft and Free Radical Design's hotly anticipated PlayStation 3 shooter Haze this week.
The world exclusive demo will be free to play at the Broadway Centre on Nottingham, October 27, from 11am until 1 pm.

Haze isn't the only game that will get an exclusive public session this week. Traveller's Tales' Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Wii will be hands-on at GameCity – a world exclusive for the growing UK festival.
