Ok ok ok! I got home at 10pm dammit and had some dinner and set her up!
Photos are being uploaded but the dE values after calibration are amazing compared to the previous revision!

Even with default brightness which is bright it's never too bright or eye burning, this is largely due to the polariser by the looks of it!

If id have realised that I obviously wouldn't have asked... I thought it was a 6ms like most S-ipS/PVA screens.

On this test I can see all other squares clearly except square 1, square 1 is there but only if you look with a squint

On this test however all but 253 and 254 are visible, to see 253 you have to squint a bit and 254 I had no luck with!

looks fantastic! Hopefully they will come replace mine in the next few days 
You will like it as much as I like it, though I think I will like it more because I have taken a strong liking to it

You got this as a warranty replacement ? because DPMS didnt work in vista.
A complete new screen, panel, electronics, casing etc. Hard to believe really.... Well done Hazro, lets just hope it doesnt hurt them too much finacially.
Take it you tested for the main reason it went back ie. the DPMS issue and the 1:1 scaling at..... how did they put it " niche resolutions such as 1680x1050" and all is well ?
1680x1050 scales fine now, no more weird distortion. Also DPMS working perfectly
In fact in DPMS mode the monitor powers down completely by the looks of it, the power LED does not flash or go orange, it goes off as if the monitor is completely off but it comes back to life as soon as you turn the PC back on.
