Hazro dilemma

Sure you can use compressed air to clean it, and then microfibre cloths and all that crap for the screen.

Or you can get glass, love it and think it's sexy then clean it normally because it's Glass.

MWahahaha!

And then go bananas that I can't open my blinds without being blinded by a giant middle finger on my screen in the form of a reflection. :p

A bit difficult to clean behind the glass though if you get any dust there :p

No such thing! No such thing at all, you're delusioned!

They're sealed monitors, i live next to a small quarry and deal with plenty of dust. yet no problems on the monitor. HA HA!

Delusioned? Maybe, but my brain sees it therefore I become a raging beast!

If you were able to remove the glass like with the iMac I'd go for it. :p

Nonsense!

I've had glass fronted 24" for years and never had a problem. Since launch the HZ24Wi I have has been in front of a window and I have never seen a problem!

Glass screens > matte screens. Especially for that "looking out of a window" feel you get when viewing photos.

Wait. Your HZ has a glass fronted screen?

The non glass version isn't matte. It's still glossy, just without a glass panel on the front of it.

It feels quite hard, I always thought it was glass? Either way the spec/manual says "Glossy (Anti-Reflective)" :p

Still, it feels like thin glass and taps like it and scratches like it (have a very fine hairline scratch from a USB plug on one corner).

Yeah, that's just the glossy coating, same as the non glass one.

The glass version has a much thicker glass sheet like an apple screen over the top of the screen, in addition to that same glossy anti reflective coating.

And ouch at that scratch.

You can't see it even if you look for it :p I can see it when I'm wiping and calibrating though because I've noticed it once when inspecting up close.

Cannot unsee things like that once they have been seen.
