Hey I've looked around but can't find any info on anyone successfully fixing their Hazro. I like the screen (it's been good to me over the years!) and I'm quite keen to fix it. I already have a replacement but I don't want to bin it if I don't have to.
Over the last few months it has been flashing black then it just went black all the time. There is still the LED on monitor and the power brick.
Question 1 - Could there be an issue with the power brick even though the light is on the monitor?
Could it cause this type of issue? ( I don't really want to spend 25 quid on a replacement brick if it's unlikely to sort it.)
Question 2 - If the problem is inside the monitor, is it likely to be capacitors or could there (likely) be some other problem? If it is the caps then has anyone actually had luck replacing them.
I'm a bit of a noob when i come to hardware fixes but I have nothing to loose if I'm just going to bin it anyway. I hate seeing things go to waste.
