Hi

I received my b grade monitor today and whilst it has around 5 dead pixels, I noticed what looks like dust trapped behind the panel and it's showing on the screen.

Also the plastic housing is not perfectly straight. I put a spirit level to the side of it and it's of by 1cm and looks wonky to the eye.

Can I use this as a valid reason to RMA it? I like the screen a lot and would love to keep it but it looks like a manufacturing defect.

Any advise would be welcomed.

hi,

I would like to to keep the monitor therefore rma seems the best option, however what I should have been clear on is that for a B grade monitor would an rma be rejected if there are more than 5 dead pixels, the housing/bezel is not straight and there appears to be dust specs embedded in the panel?

I'm just might dsr it guys just in case ocuk charge for testing and then deem it within tolerances. The bezel itself is really poor. I was cleaning the panel with a micro fibre cloth and the bezel had a couple of (mm) gap between the panel and liquid could have gone inbetween it. I don't know if that is normal with Hazro's build quality, but with my Samsung it's nothing like that.
