1) Having a bit of an issue finding a replacement power brick for my Hazro HZ27WC 2560x1440p monitor, the sticker says a 24V / 5A 4 pin.

I just bought a replacement 4 pin power adapter from amazon without realising the monitor needs 24V / 5A which resulted in the 12V /5A I bought not working.

Yet now I'm finding that the positive and negative poles are in alternating positions on different 24V / 5A cables, and I can't find any manual online to say which ones I need.

2) This is a dual link DVI only monitor. The FE 1070 only has one DVI-D connection which I'm using already, so I bought a HDMI to DVI-D adaptor (This) Would this even work in the first place or should I give up now?

The HDMI -> DVI-D should work fine - I used the same thing on my hazro for years.

I've got the HZ24Wi, which is a fair bit older, but AFAIK they use the same adapters. I bought a dodgy one off amazon which worked but was awful... but the one you want is LiShin 0227B24130. Good luck sourcing one :/

I've tried the HDMI / DVI-D adaptor on my other monitor (Korean 1440p import) which is also DVI-D only and it doesn't work, may still work on the Hazro?

I can find lots of generic chargers, yet I'm unsure on which I need as they all have different polarity order. Even googling the LiShin, there are ones with positive and negative prongs in different positions.

Got a power cable working, yet the DVI-D to HDMI adapter doesn't work.

Googling tells me that these adapters only work up to 1920x1600 resolution, so this 2560x1440 monitor wouldn't work with a hdmi adapter. Oh well, to the bin this monitor goes.
