I would be satisfied with this large and colorful monitor if there was not
for some problems i have with it.
firstly there seems to be a fair bit of
backlight bleeding in the upper right "corner" of the screen as seen here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2EBMSRh3HQ
And here where i apply some light pressure to the bezel@the bleed spot it changes form
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl_X8U_4glY
and this is while playing a movie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxL-gITWT8M
also there seems to be some problems with green snow/noise/distortion in
the image under certain circumstances as seen here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJDdk835cUc
I guess the blacklight bleeding is something i have to live with due to
hazros "relaxed" warranty but the pixel distortion is something i dont
really think should be there? (sometimes its even worse than in the
video) at first i thought it was my overclocked and abused old 5850 that
was causing the problem, but all the videos posted above is shot when the
screen is running from my htpcs ati hd4350 and using the supplied dvi-d
dual link cable from hazro.
tldr: would a new and more higher quality dvi cable solve this pixel
problem or would i be forced to try and rma the monitor(this would not be
cheap for me as i live outside of the uk)
Regards.
