Hello

Last wednesday I got my brand new monitor delivered to my door it was HAZRO HZ27WD after opening the box I've noticed the monitor was covered with millions of fingerprints everywhere there was no foil on screen, no user manual in the box or any other leaflet I put it on my desk and went to work, after coming back I turned the monitor on! screen was so bright I couldn't look at it, first I thought it is just the calibration problem so I hooked up my spyder3elite and go through the calibration process, after few steps spyder measured the brightness at about 180cd/m2 and ask me to go down with it to 80cd/m2 but this level was almost impossible to reach at my monitor, I set the brightness to 0 (ZERO) and after measuring it again it was finally 80cd/m2, overall picture looks good after calibration but there was completely no black in colours, everything black was just grey (don’t even dark grey)
it looks like one big light bleed covering all the screen at very similar level! So I’ve sent an email through webnote to overclockers.co.uk explaining my problem, was around 6pm so did’t expect any answer till morning! Played with the monitor almost all night and strange things started happening around! after a couple of hours the right bottom part of the screen bezel bended and pop out
the double sided tape glue dried out after the monitor heat up a little i think. Because the bezel was badly fixed in the factory I wasn’t able to put it back in to the place as it was bigger then the space for it in silver frame of the monitor! During my tests I discovered the blue led light blinking randomly and because the part of the bezel frame was off the screen for a couple of millimetres the blue light mixed with the picture on the screen (visible best in the dark room on black screens) after this I felt so bad but full of hope there will be no problems with returning of the device or even replacing it for something better for a little bit extra. So I plugged in my sound card to the back speakers the sound quality was poor as I expected from the inbuilt speakers but right speaker makes a strange buzz noise during playback like some sort of vibrations but very loud! i was disgusted and tired go sleep, first thing next day on the morning I’ve check my emails and I got a replay from Nicholas Paviour
this is the contents

“Thank you for your webnote

Unfortunately manufactures do not class backlight bleed as a fault with their products. Are you able to upload some images of the backlight bleed via Imgur.com so we can inspect the issue to see if we can raise an RMA for it?

Regards,

Nicholas Paviour”

Nothing about “second hand, dirty, incomplete”
I’ve replayed as fast as could with three photos of my problems
described all my recent discovers about bezel, speakers and led light
sent! no answer for all day, I’ve sent it again to be sure and added I will be happy
if they can replace it for something better and I will pay the difference
I’ve sent it as a webnote complain to be sure it will reach some of the managers
next day morning replay again from Nicholas Paviour

Thank you for your webnote

Unfortunately we (5 Technicians) have inspected the photographs again to assess the situation.

The backlight bleed you are experiencing is not sever enough to be classed as a fault. We therefore would not be able to get the item back for this issue.

Regards,

Nicholas Paviour”

nothing mentioned about all my other problems
screen is the minor problem now !!!
I’ve replied again in not a such nice way and asked for a contact with a manager
but again all day no replay, so I am waiting!!!
I the meantime I’ve registered myself here and trying to get some help
my order number OC1842066

thank you

Return it under DSR, from your description the monitor sounds used, I would return such a monitor for a full refund and demand to know why it was sent out in such a state. :)

Good morning everyone
today morning I got very positive replay from mr Bailey and he sent me a rma confirmation email so I can return the monitor with no problems :)
I am still not really sure how this is going to look a like as I am located in Ireland (ROI)
and just wondering if overclockers can organise courier collection from here or I need to send it and ask for shipping refund after ?
thank you guys
you are all really helpful here
