Has anyone found a fix to the issues when using a HZ27WC + Nvidia graphics card yet?

I can't change any of the display settings in the nvidia control panel and i REALLY need to change the scaling options as it's starting to drive me crazy!

I've asked in the big hazro thread but i tihnk it might be handy to split this specific problem off from there, has anyone got an inf for the monitor or customised one themselves that works with it yet etc?

I've tried various nvidia drivers but nothing on that front seems to solve it.

I've posted on the nvidia forums, yet to get a response though to see if they can do anything about it.

Can't find any contact details for hazro anywhere, completely impossible company to get a hold of :(

I had a small play but nothing seemed to make a difference, might try again in a bit.

I'm currently seriously considering selling my 580 and getting 2x6950s

I'm starting to think it is nvidias end that this is a problem, i've just edited an inf (albit i have absolutely NO IDEA what im doing, im just sort of playing on what i know to attempt to make it work) and it has made no difference, infact the inf seems to make no difference to the nvidia control panel seeing the monitor as a "Syncmaster" which is odd?

On the birght side my device manager now whos up under monitor as "Hazro H27WC Series Wide LED Monitor" and the manufacuer appears as Hazro :p lol as i copied and edited a HP 27" monitors inf and installed that.

Question now is where would i go to edit the nvidia control panel settings?

The fact the inf has made no difference at all is making me wonder if it's an nvidia driver issue?

I remember someone mentioning some luck using the HDMI output though, i've got a mini HDMI > HDMI cable and i've ordered a HDMI > DVI converter so i'll see how that goes on tuesday (bloody bank holidays, delivery men should work through them!!!!)

EDIT: I have now messaged nvidia via their bug report section, i've messaged hazro via their web form and ocuk are looking into the problem when they can get a chance to replicate it and hopefully contact hazro themselves. I think i've done all i can until i get some answers back now.

Hi colin, welcome to the forums.

I gave up trying to fix mine some time ago but would be very interested to see this inf you have if you could post it up on here :)

That's fantastic, thank you colin :)

All i've ever wanted from this monitor was the ability to change the scaling from "aspect ratio" to "full screen" and i can finally do that.

What makes me laugh is Hazro couldn't give me an answer to this problem after numerous complaints (hell, most of the time they didn't bother to reply) yet you've done it yourself! :D

EDIT: All options now available in the nvidia control panel and monitor displays as "Hazro HZ27WC" in device manager, awesome :D

this could save them a lot of effort

HA that's Laughable a laughable idea, as if they're even bothering to try and fix it!

Sadly they're one of the most useless companies i have ever come across when it comes to things like this, just a lucky thing proactive people exist within our communities :)
