Just wanted to gauge people's experience/s with Hazro RMAs.

Has anyone had the unfortunate experience of having to RMA their Hazro monitor? How quick was the process in general?

I'm on working day 23 of the 28 day limit at the moment and I'll be honest, I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the wait! OCUK have been helpful, but the whole process leaves you completely in the dark from the moment it's collected.

Hazro's customer service is dreadful.

They have have had my faulty monitor for almost 4 weeks now and I've not had a single word from them despite several from emails from myself asking what's going on. I am completely in the dark.

Overclockers have washed their hands of the matter as well and were not even willing to email Hazro on my behalf to get some sort of update. Overclockers said that had I RMA'd it through them then they would take up the matter but because my RMA was direct with Hazro they wouldn't get involved . . . Overclockers were the ones that told me to go direct!!

I'll never buy a Hazro product again and my confidence in Overclockers has taken a serious knock.

So it's now exactly 4 weeks and I am still completely in the dark. Time to look at legal options for recovery.

Overclockers told me to email [email protected] to arrange the RMA but I got no reply.

I then tried the websites contact form, [email protected], to which they replied with RMA details . . . all other messages either sent through the website or direct to the email address have been completely ignored.

how to get answer from Hazro ?

I have same problem with Hazro.
If somebody can help me it could be great.
I am living in France.
I bought from German seller 18 months ago, an Hazro HZ27WC monitor.
I received a first non-working monitor.
Then I returned it immediately to the seller asking for refund.

I did not receive any answer from the seller during one month,
Then I received a new working HZ27WC.
Good.

I used it a few, during 15 months, then it failed two months ago ! No more display, black screen.
I asked a RMA number from Hazro and returned the faulty HZ27WC, delivery was on August 27, 2013 in Hazro.
One month later I started to send messages using “contact us” form, asking news about my monitor…
I never received a single answer. This is very frustrating.
There is no phone number, there is no answer, how long do I have to wait ?
Is still Hazro existing company ?
I am really anxious
Any help welcomed.

Hi there Le Boff

Hazro still do operate and I am sorry to hear of the issues you have had with their monitor.

The best thing I can advise is to drop them an email to [email protected] to see if they get back to you.

Regards

Bailey

As mentioned before I sent a letter by recorded delivery threatening legal action and trading standards involvement.

As if by magic 2 days later my repaired screen arrived, no apologies or explanations.

Will never touch Hazro again.

Hi there Bailey
I did what you suggested: I sent a polite email asking only confirmation that my monitor is in the repair process, ...... no answer.
I really don't know what to try to get an answer.
This silence is very frustrating.

Let's put facts on the forum:
80 days after my defective monitor arrived at Hazro
and 7 days after sending a tracked letter, to Hazro repair center
I received a too polite mail from Hazro saying :
Dear xxxx
It has come to my attention that you've experienced diffiuclty in obtaining support for your Hazro monitor. I have now taken over the case after an audit and will ensure the issue is swiftly resolved. Can you kindly explain (along with a timeline) of what exactly has gone wrong and what your current status is. I will also need your full address and contact details as well as the monitor serial number.
Best regards
Dan Nuttfield
Hazro Technologies

9 days later a second mail announced that :
Dear xxxx
I have looked into your case and am now waiting on confirmation for a replacement to be sent out. I will notify you once this is given.
Regards
Dan Nuttfield
Hazro Technologies

But today, one month from Dan's last mail and near 4 months after monitor return, I don't have any new, apart from 2 previous too polite mails.

So I think that
Dan Nuttfield is a liar
and Hazro is a band of thieves
1: warranty terms are not respected
2: customer is peanuts for Hazro

Do you want a good advice ?
Never buy Hazro !

I have to agree that Hazro is an absolute disgrace of a company.

I've had a faulty monitor since approx 21st October, Power inside the monitor had blown, After sending Hazro a mail through their website seeking an RMA I received a reply a week later which was completely the wrong advice in which my original email was blatantly not read properly.

After replying to them regarding this I have not received any kind of contact from them at all.

Fast forward a bunch of ignored emails and 7 weeks later I had to put a complaint in to OCUK who arranged an RMA and picked it up from me next day and tested it, Confirmed it was faulty and sent it off to Hazro.

Hazro would have received this monitor from OCUK on 9th December, I see that it can take up-to a maximum of 28 working days to be returned according to OCUK RMA processing.

I fully expect it to take longer than 28 working days and to be honest I fully expect I will never see that monitor again or a replacement, I fully expect it however to have to be taken further....

What annoys me even more is I was never rude or obnoxious etc in any emails at all so to be ignored in this way is just disgusting, Not to mention I had a nightmare getting my original purchase from them replaced last year when the glass front was falling off.....

tl;dr - Spend that bit extra and buy a better brand with better quality and support you get what you pay for. Why didn't I just buy the Asus, Hazro are terrible can't believe OC stock their products.
